Often being credited as one of the greatest musicians of his generation, he pioneered the Minneapolis sound and was influential in the evolution of various other genres. [7]

Prince died on in Chanhassen, Minnesota, at his Paisley Park recording studio complex. He was 57. Prince will be remembered as a musician and artist who inspired millions through his music, and set an inspirational platform which others still abide by.
